Adriatic Figs
Green skin, red pulp, intense berry flavor, most are very late producing figs that will not ripen in my growing zone. They are so good, and do ripen very well indoors under led lights. I have multiple copies of each to bring in during the Winter and ripen under quality LED lights.

White Madeira # 1
Most people say this is the best Adriatic type fig!
A bit sweeter, denser pulp, thicker skin, less acidic and more seed crunch than Adriatic JH. Some people say they taste the same, I think they taste very different. The thicker skin makes White Madeira #1 easier to grow and get consist good results, it is more split resistant, but not the skin is not as tender. It has a tight eye which leads to less spoiling or bug problems. I think it tastes closer Col de Dame Blanc because it has a thick jammy pulp, but easier to grow for many people in diverse climates. It is one great fig, but so are other Adriatic type figs such as Adriatic JH which is more acidic and Strawberry Verte which tastes like sugared strawberries.

I love this fig!
A great balance of acidic and sweet. I liken it to Strawberry-Rhubarb flavors. It is much more complex than Strawberry Verte and a little more tart and acidic compared to White Madeira #1.
